Jerry Meyer is not just a chronic alcoholic, he is a painter and US veteran.  He is holding a ticket he got for $6500, a year or so ago, for prohibited camping.   He has been in and out of jail for “crimes” associated with his addiction and homelessness.   We should be treating our citizens better than this.  Jerry, like many on the streets for years, needs housing first.
